Residential Construction

Blueprint Builders provides residential construction services for homeowners across Western North Carolina, guiding projects from early planning through final completion. We help clients build with confidence by focusing on quality, function, practical design decisions, and long-term value.

Whether you are building from the ground up or expanding an existing property, we can help coordinate the design, scope, budget, permitting, and construction process. Our residential work includes custom homes, ADU construction, home additions, garages, and outdoor living spaces.

Repairs & Renovations

We help homeowners transform existing spaces and address the structural, moisture-related, and repair issues that can undermine a property over time. Our renovation work includes whole-home remodeling, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, structural repairs, waterproofing, drainage, and even mold, asbestos, and lead remediation.

For some projects, the scope is clear from the start. For others, additional discovery is needed before the right solution can be priced and built. Blueprint Builders can help identify the practical path forward, whether the project is a straightforward remodel or a more complex repair.

Commercial Construction

Blueprint Builders provides commercial construction services for local businesses, regional companies, national franchises, and hospitality clients across Western North Carolina. Our work includes ground-up construction, white box build-outs, restaurant and retail spaces, franchise construction, hospitality improvements, commercial upfits, medical offices, server rooms, and industrial or manufacturing facilities.

With experience across both residential and commercial construction, we bring practical field knowledge, subcontractor coordination, and buildability-focused planning to each project. Our commercial work is built around clear communication, practical scheduling, and a construction plan that supports the needs of the business.

Planning & Feasibility

Not every project is ready for a fixed-price bid on day one. For properties with incomplete plans, uncertain site conditions, structural concerns, budget questions, or complex design goals, Blueprint Builders offers planning and feasibility support before construction begins.

Our pre-construction services can include site walks, feasibility reviews, budget and scope discussions, design coordination, consultation, constructability feedback, and realtor walkthroughs. This helps owners, buyers, and commercial tenants understand risks and next steps before committing to a full design or construction contract.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We’ve got answers

  • No. Some projects need one or more design professionals, but not every project does. We can help determine what is needed and can work with your existing team or bring in trusted architects, engineers, and designers as needed.

  • Yes. We offer pre-construction consultation, feasibility review, rough budgeting, and design coordination to help clients understand what is realistic before committing to full construction documents.

  • We can review existing plans, help identify constructability or budget concerns, and provide a path toward pricing and construction.

  • We are open to discussing owner-preferred subcontractors where appropriate, but all subcontractor involvement must fit the project schedule, quality standards, insurance requirements, and overall construction plan.

  • At this time we do not offer financing directly, but we can work with clients using lender-backed construction financing, home-equity financing, renovation loans, or other third-party financing options.

  • We use different contract structures depending on the project scope, level of design completion, and number of unknowns involved. For projects with clear plans and limited open variables, we may use a fixed-price construction contract. For projects that require additional discovery, budgeting, design coordination, or site evaluation, we may begin with a Pre-Construction Service Agreement. Where plans are required but not yet available, we may use a design or pre-construction agreement first, followed by a separate construction contract once the scope is better defined.

  • Most projects begin with a conversation and an on-site visit so we can understand your goals, the property, and the major variables involved. From there, we recommend the best next step. Depending on the project, that may be a fixed-price proposal, a Pre-Construction Service Agreement, or a Time & Materials structure where significant unknowns cannot be fully evaluated until work begins. Our goal is to match the contract structure to the reality of the project rather than force every job into the same process.
